空乘人员有好多要求，英语只是其中之一。

男的当空乘这是好事，在欧美一些国家也有男性当空乘的。男的当空乖有两个优势。一是可以兼职空保的工作；二是可以震慑那些不守规矩的乘客。

至于说到英语一事，国内航班没有强行规定，国际航班有规定，乘务员要会英语。实际上这些规定都是航空公司自行规定的。一些欧美航空公司，只说本国语言。如：美国航空公司，她只说英语，其它语言一概不说，能听懂是你学过英语，听不懂你可以努力学习英语。说白了这就是一种文化侵略。但中国航空公司在这方面不如外航公司做得好。目前，全世界有五分之一的人说汉语，那么为什么我们不进一步发扬光大中国的汉语呢？假若在国际航班上乘务员只说汉语，这与在国外办孔子学院，推广中国文化能起到事半功倍的效果。
